Bloomingdale, Illinois - Power-cell Battery Products, LLC is proud to announce it received it's ISO9001:2008 certification of re-registration on April 1, 2010.  To become certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant, Power-cell Battery undergoes a yearly evaluation process that includes quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.  

The process culminated in a comprehensive surveillance visit conducting a systematic and independent examination of Power-cell Battery's quality activities by QAS International Limited.  The purpose of this visit was to determine whether these arrangements are controlled and in keeping with the requirements of the current ISO 9001:2008 Quality and Procedure manuals in Power-cell Battery's possession.  After correction and closure of all non conformances, QAS International will maintain Power-cell Battery in its register of Quality Approved Companies operating to the BS EN ISO9001:2008 series of standards for a further year to March 2011.   

This certification of compliance with ISO 9001:2008 recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of our company ensure consistent quality in the services and work product we provide our customers.  With this certification, our customers can be confident that Power-cell Battery is dedicated to maintaining the highest efficiency and responsiveness in acheiving our ultimate goal - guaranteed customer satisfaction.

Power-cell Battery is certified as meeting the requirements of ISO9001:2008 for the following activities:

1. Quality objectives are in place and fit in the operation of the business
2. Provide a documented quality policy indicating how these requirements are satisfied
3. Communicates them thoroughly throughout our organization
4. Continually evaluates the quality policy, its states objectives and prioritizes requirements to ensure they are met
5. Identifies the boundaries of the management system and produces documented procedures as required
6. Ensures these procedures and suitable and adhered to
7. Internal audits are conducted to ensure the system is working

To maintain our certification, QAS International performs annual on-site audits and surveillance visits to ensure compliance and to assess initiatives for continued improvement.  Our customers can be confident that Power-cell Battery will continue to provide the high quality services they have come to expect well into the future.  Power-cell Battery's decision to become ISO 9001:2008 Certified is a proactive one that not only anticipates the demands of our customers, but also demonstrates our commitment to providing quality services to all our customers.

Power-cell Battery Products, LLC is an ISO 9001-2008 certified manufacturer and distributor of the ZEUS rechargeable sealed lead acid batteries (SLA). Our ZEUS batteries are manufactured in a wide variety of sizes (2V-12V) and amp ratings allowing for maximum flexibility in the design process of pack assembly, standalone, standby and cyclic applications. We have one of the largest inventories of sealed lead acid batteries centrally located in the Midwest just outside Chicago, IL.
